Maps! And history!

Howdy all! It's been a while - haven't been up to anything particularly interesting, I suppose. But in the interest of maintaining a presence, here's some stuff!

First off, happy summer! In the way of celebration, here's a picture of a feathery friend fanning in the light of the rising sun in South Freeport Harbor.

In other news, I recently composed a tour on Google Earth for a course project, and I thought I'd experiment with some code and see if I could post it here! It's about the coast of Maine and its history, beginning with the first European settlement in 1604. There's some fascinating information in the balloons, and the scenery's pretty. Enjoy!
